   I can reliably get Windows to reboot if I try to read from the BoxCryptor drive using Firefox.

   BoxCryptor 1.0.9.1
   Win 7 x64 Ultimate
   Firefox 4.0.1

   Specifically, I am importing various preferences for Add-ons (Tab Mix Plus) into a new profile in Firefox. These preference files have been saved (via a WinXp machine) on my BoxCryptor drive (V:\). I select the option (button) to import the preferences and the machine (1) hangs no mouse movement for a second and then (2) reboots.
   It does this repeatedly.
   I found that (after the reboot) by copying the preferences to a non-BoxCryptor drive and then turning off BoxCryptor the Firefox Open dialog box will pause for a bit and then tell me V:\ is not available. I can then proceed normally.
   .
   It doesn't do this on the WinXP machine.
   It doesn't do this when accessing the BoxCryptor drive (V:\) via Windows Explorer or Directory Opus.
   .
   I have not experimented with accessing the V:\ drive (e.g., via Windows Explorer) prior to trying to access it in Firefox (i.e. priming the pump).

   Hi ahbi2,

   it tried to replicate the problem in our test environment, but I could not produce any BSOD or reboot. When you receive a BSOD, Windows creates a Minidump of the crash. Could you please send me those dump files at our email at contact at boxcryptor.com? They are located in C:\Windows\Minidump.

   If you do not have any sensitive information in the exported TMP preferences file, it could be helpful if you could send me this file also.

   PS: You could also start BoxCryptor with the /debug parameter (Start -> "BoxCryptor.exe /debug") and replicate the reboot. BoxCryptor will then create a log file on your Desktop (BoxCryptor.log) which could help to find the problem.

   Think this could be related to my Thunderbird BSOD/Crashes ? Strange how ahbi2 & I can reproduce the crash and you can not...we are all using Win 7/64 ?

   Although we're running the same OS, we all have a very distinct software setup. It is possible that some crashes only occur when another specific software is installed which somehow interferes with BoxCryptor (e.g. anti-virus software). That makes it difficult to reproduce the problems in different environments. The crash dumps at least help to get some insight in what happened on the computer.
